Veterinary Receptionist

Our team is seeking motivated individuals with excellent communication, phone, and customer service skills. We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working and on-time team members to add. Responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors
  • Scheduling
  • Correspondence
  • Stocking supplies
  • Sorting and sending mail and email
  • Following up with veterinarians regarding messages from clients promptly
  • Social media management

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work on weekends
  • Ability to work between hours of 7AM-8PM (depending on shift need and availability)
  • Be on time, dressed and prompt to your shift
  • All team members are required to wear scrubs
  • Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Fluent in English language (Required)
  • Work authorization: United States (Required)

Required Skills:

  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with other team members
  • Knowledge of CORNERSTONE Software will be plus
  • Comfortable working around cats and dogs
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and upbeat environment
  • Comfortable with speaking to people regarding customer service and basic pet knowledge
  • Willing to learn information regarding basic health and pet care needs
  • Answering clients' questions/concerns via phone, email, or in-person
  • Work directly with the veterinary team to maintain a clean and efficient work environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to work situations and environments
  • Technical experience or skill with email and basic computer/printer usage

Benefits:

Only full-time employees are eligible.

Compensation:

$18.00 /hour starting and + (strongly depends on skill and experience)

Schedule:

Full-time, Part-time (30-40 hours per week)
